Frequently asked questions

We understand that reaching out for psychological support can bring up many questions. Our goal is to provide a supportive and understanding environment, and part of that is ensuring you have all the information you need. Below, you will find answers to common queries about our services and what you can expect.

Are your therapists qualified?

Yes, our team has diverse backgrounds, but all possess degrees relating to psychology and healthcare. We are committed to providing professional and effective support.

How much experience do you have?

Our team members bring a variety of experience. We also believe in supporting new graduates entering the field, as there is a deficiency of mental health professionals in New Zealand. This approach ensures fresh perspectives alongside seasoned expertise.

What made you want to do this as a profession?

While our team has a variety of backgrounds, we are all united by a strong passion for helping others and making a positive impact on mental well-being.

How much are your services?

Please refer to our pricing page for detailed information on our service fees.

What is your availability?

You can contact us for specific availability. We are open 7 days a week to provide flexibility and ensure you can access support when you need it most.

Can psychologists read minds?

No, we cannot read minds. To help you effectively, it is important that you feel comfortable and able to open up to us during your sessions.

If I don't like the therapist I'm seeing, who can I tell?

Just send an email to us, and we can recommend a different therapist. We understand that you may not always feel comfortable with who you initially see, which is absolutely okay, and we want you to find the right fit.

Can anyone ask for my information?

We will never speak or share any information without your explicit permission. This includes family members. We deeply protect your privacy, and all sessions are strictly confidential.

Ready to start your journey?

Your first appointment is a "get-to-know-you" session where we discuss your goals and what you would like to work through in future sessions. We are dedicated to providing long-term, stable, and flexible therapy services for everyone.
